Just a quick entry to support TWO initiatives.
The first is a formal club initiative and is the ANNUAL AWARD DINNER which is June 6th 2009 and at Antonio's Pasta Grille. For those of you who went last year it was a lot of fun - we dealt with a "broken" oven issue, and an auction that had items that were a bargain at just a couple of dollars and then some cut glasses that were bid up out of reach of most of us (but it all goes to the club and is a GREAT cause).
Information can be found on the events page.
The second initiative is a new website layout that I personally prefer and have put out there as a "see how it is received" ; however, I'd be interested in public opinion. The content is the same (except the blog entries have not been copied over) but the format is "cleaner" using a free and available template with minimal alteration. If we c

Well...my intentions were to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. Then my intentions were to wish you all a Happy Holidays. Then my intentions were to wish you all a Happy New Year.....A miserable failure, am I!
This I could handle, but then I forgot the one main thing that I promised I would remember to post - that the Canine Clusters event would be in Brooksville January 2009. Well they were, and I missed it Hopefully, you all got notice via one of the newsfeeds that are all over the internet. If not, remember that they will do them again next year!
I did post some photos a couple of months ago that hopefully

Seems like a long time since I updated this site, and that's because it has been a long time! However, during the absence of posts here a newsletter has been sent out to the members so at least there has been some information flowing.
There have been a number of inquiries into puppies and rescues via the website so it appears that it is working somewhat - I'm still trying to find the time to complete the building of the new layout (something that looks simpler and prettier) but it takes a lot of time that I only seem to find in small amounts and infrequently. But some progress is better than none!
In the meantime, there is a major event upcoming...namely the specialty. This is an annual event and will feature some of the best dogs and puppies in t

f you're in Florida like most of the members, you will know that in the middle of August sometimes you wish the humidity and rain would just go away. You'd even settle for snow....
I recently receive three pictures for the web site...hoorah! They are of snow - so I think they are a few months old. The puppy in question is Boldwyn Tulip Poplar with the obvious nickname....Poppy! She is linked to us through her Grandmother who is a STCTB member. Poppy lives in Nashville and obviously enjoys being outside!
I gave Poppy her very own album - so hopefully we'll see more of her. I found one picture so wonderful that I thought I'd share it on the front page. It really shows that Scotties don't have to be black - they can be just as handsome or beautiful as a

This weekend is the Grooming Seminar in Tampa. For those of you going it should be fun...for those of you who want to go and haven't let anyone know you're cutting it close (sigh...I wish the pun was not intended). For those of you less than satisfied with a generic salon cut - pay for your salon to go!

It's been a while since I made un update. I have removed a couple of pages that were not used, have responded to a couple of curious people looking for a Scotty - it's great to know there are fans of the breed out there! I can't believe I just called them "curious people"...I meant, of course, regular people that were showing some curiousity.
Pictures and link and rescue.
